INIU Power Bank with 100W and 25000mAh review

The INIU power bank with 100W and 25,000 mAh is potentially one of the most exciting power banks on the market!

25,000 mAh and 100W output power for under 70€! These are fantastic specifications where manufacturers like Anker and others cannot compete. Moreover, INIU power banks are often available on special offers.

But how does it perform in practice? Is the INIU Power Bank 100W Small But Powerful really that good? Can it consistently deliver 100W? Is the capacity specification accurate?

Let’s find out all of this in the test!

INIU Power Bank with 100W and 25,000mAh Review

The INIU Power Bank measures 149 x 73 x 34 mm and weighs 493g. The power bank is certainly not super compact, but for a capacity of 25,000mAh and an alleged power of 100W, it is anything but too large.

Here, INIU opts for a casing with a kind of soft-touch or rubberized surface, along with a small glossy window.

It certainly looks stylish, but the power bank will quickly accumulate smudges and scratches, giving it a less durable or robust appearance. We definitely don’t have the most durable or robust material here.

However, the overall build quality is good. It may not quite reach the level of Anker, but it’s better than your typical run-of-the-mill power banks!

On the top, as mentioned, there is a small glossy “window.” However, underneath, there is only a simple LCD display that shows the current charge level in percentage.

Interestingly, at the bottom, there is a small fold-out smartphone stand.

As for the ports, we have 2x USB-C and 1x USB-A.

  • 1x USB-C – 100W Power Delivery – 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A
  • 1x USB-C – 45W Power Delivery – 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A
  • 1x USB-A – 18W Quick Charge – 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A

The star of the show is the 100W USB-C output, which is sufficiently powerful even for large devices like notebooks. Don’t worry; you can also charge smartphones using the 100W port.

Additionally, there is a 45W port and an 18W USB-A output, making for a very well-equipped power bank!

The power bank can also be charged through the primary USB-C port, with a maximum of 65W.

If you use multiple ports simultaneously, the power bank will throttle down. For example, if you use USB-C 1 and 2 simultaneously, Port 1 will be throttled to 65W, while Port 2 maintains the full 45W.

Full PPS Range!

The primary USB-C port offers the full PPS range from 3.3-20V at up to 5A. Even the USB-C offers PPS with up to 3.3-11V at up to 4.5A.

This is an excellent PPS range, allowing devices like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to charge at full speed on both ports.

Temperature issues at 100W load?

Many 100W power banks tend to have temperature problems or throttling at low capacity levels.

How does the INIU Power Bank perform in this regard?

Fortunately, quite well! Although there is a slightly lower capacity when under a constant 100W load, the power bank holds up.

It’s important to note that it refused to charge immediately after discharging at 100W. It only resumed charging after a short cooling-off period.

Capacity

According to INIU, the power bank should have a capacity of 25,000 mAh. Here are the measurements I obtained:

The capacity values look really good! They fluctuate between 23,240 mAh and 22,210 mAh outside the 20V/5A stage, which corresponds to up to 93% of the manufacturer’s specification.

These are fantastic values! Typically, power banks exhibit a “real” capacity in the range of 80-90%, and surpassing 90% is very rare!

Charging Duration

How long does it take to charge the power bank?

In the test conducted by Akkutest.org, the power bank was able to charge at just over 60W. This resulted in a complete charge taking approximately 1 hour and 53 minutes.

Conclusion

To sum it up, the “INIU Power Bank, 100W Small But Powerful 25,000mAh” is, in my opinion, highly recommended! In the test, the power bank not only provided a very good real capacity, reaching up to 23,240 mAh, which is generally very high, but also boasted a fantastic array of ports!

We initially have the 100W USB-C output with the full PPS range! This feature allows the power bank to effortlessly and rapidly charge large devices such as notebooks. However, the power bank is also excellent for smartphones! It covers a wide range, including iPhones, Google Pixel models, and Samsung Galaxy models. Thanks to the extensive PPS range from 3.3-20V at up to 5A, it is wonderfully suited for Samsung smartphones.

This means you can charge a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra at the full 45W with this power bank. However, it’s equally capable of charging an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max at full speed, as well as various iPads and most MacBooks.

What we have here is an incredibly versatile power bank.

Additionally, there’s the fast charging capability. You can fully charge the power bank in under 2 hours with a good USB Power Delivery charger rated at 65W or more.

Considering the price of the power bank is around 60-70€ at the time of this test, it’s more than fair!

In summary, the INIU Power Bank 100W Small But Powerful 25,000mAh is one of the best power banks you can currently buy, especially in terms of price-to-performance ratio!
